Conflict Manager badge demonstrates the ability to transform potential conflict into constructive discussion and to facilitate the peaceful resolution of conflicts and retribution while working with individuals and groups. 
Learning Targets
  • Knowing tools for describing and analysing conflicts
  • Knowing one's own biographical, often reflexive reaction patterns in conflict situations
  • Knowing how to set parties to reach a SMART agreement (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound)
 
  • Ability to recognise and deal with conflicts in a rational, balanced and effective way
  • Capacity to transform subject positions from incompatibility/antagonism to compatibility/tolerance
  • Active listening skills
  • Questioning and clarifying skills to grasp both the facts and the areas of controversy

Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.

Minimum standards:

  • Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
  • Self-evaluation
  • Assessment session with the trainer/mentor
