Digital Expert badge demonstrates the ability to adjust to the continuously changing ICT and multimedia sector and the ability to apply different multimedia tools to teaching and learning. 
Learning Targets
  • Knowing about Computer Basics and the World Wide Web
  • Understanding Computer Security and Privacy
  • Knowing about Digital Lifestyles such as film, digital image editing, animation, social media, game making
  • Knowing about  Assistive Technology for Youth With Disabilities
 
  • Being able to use current office applications
  • Being able to apply Multimedia Skills
  • Being able to apply Assistive Technology for Youth With Disabilities
  • Being able to apply Computer Security Skills
 
  • Showing willingness to improve a process, a product, personal life or professional life by using new technologies and tools
  • Perceiving new technologies and media as supportive tools for young people
 

Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.

Minimum standards:

  • Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
  • Self-evaluation
  • Assessment session with the trainer/mentor

 

  • Case Study
  • Conducted one workshop on the topic of the activity with youth within 2 months after the activity
  • Conducted critical incident analysis
  • Problem Solving and simulation games on the specific topic of the activity
  • Reflection exercises
  • Scored at least 80% on the final test
